Junk removal jobs — TX

Junk hauling jobs in Dallas–Fort Worth

The Metroplex is one of the steadiest junk-removal markets in the country — corporate churn in Dallas, new builds on the Fort Worth side, and more apartments turning over every week than most cities see in a quarter.

The work

What the Dallas–Fort Worth jobs are like

  • Apartment and high-rise turnovers with dock or elevator windows
  • Whole-house and estate clearances
  • Construction and remodel debris on the western growth corridors
  • Garage, attic and storage clear-outs
  • Office furniture from corporate floors

On the ground

Working Dallas–Fort Worth

The two halves of the Metroplex produce different work. Dallas runs high-rise turnovers with booked loading docks, apartment churn in Uptown, and estate jobs out of the Park Cities. Fort Worth runs construction and remodel debris out of the growth corridors, garage jobs in the older neighbourhoods, and student move-outs around TCU. A hauler who knows which side of the Metroplex a job is on before accepting it knows most of what the day looks like.

The radius model matters here: jobs appear when they sit within 50 miles of your base, and a Dallas base sees a different job set than a Fort Worth one. You claim the work that fits your truck and your side of the Metroplex — nobody is asked to cross town for a single-item pickup.

How it works

A job, not a lead

The customer books with Junk Koala and pays before any crew is involved. When a booked job sits within 50 miles of your base, it appears in your app with the pay on it. You claim the ones that fit your truck and your week, and leave the rest — there is no bidding, no lead fee, and no obligation to take anything.

Complete the job with its photos and your pay moves to your earnings, paid out through the Stripe account you set up at onboarding. You are an independent business the whole time: your schedule, your radius, your other customers if you have them.

Questions haulers ask about Dallas–Fort Worth

Do I have to take jobs on both sides of the Metroplex?
No. You see the jobs within 50 miles of your base and choose what to claim. A Dallas-based hauler who never wants a Weatherford driveway job can skip it — the job stays on the open list for someone to whom it makes sense.
What are the dock and elevator jobs like?
The building sets the window, and the job reaches you with that window already booked. If the loading-dock time is in the job details and it does not work for your day, do not claim it — that is exactly what the choice is for.
Is there steady construction-debris work on the Fort Worth side?
The Alliance and Keller growth corridors generate remodel and build debris continuously, and it is a distinct job type — heavier, routed to facilities licensed for it. Haulers set up for it see those jobs because the customer has already paid for a licensed disposal route.
