For haulers and junk removal businesses

Get the jobs. Skip the chasing.

Junk Koala brings qualified junk removal work to independent providers. You choose the jobs, the areas and the hours — and you see what a job pays before you accept it.

What this is, in one paragraph

Junk Koala providers are independent businesses. Joining the network does not create an employment relationship and does not create a franchise. There is no fee to join, no territory to buy and nothing to sell. Junk Koala brings you junk-removal jobs it has already sold, priced and scheduled; you choose which ones to take, do the work, and get paid for the jobs you complete.

How it works

You run the truck. We run everything around it.

Most independent haulers are good at the work and spend most of their energy on everything else — finding customers, quoting, scheduling, invoicing and chasing payment. That work is real, it is unpaid, and it is what caps the size of the business.

What Junk Koala does

  • We find the customers

Marketing, the website, the phone and the brand. Customer acquisition is the hardest and most expensive part of running a hauling business, and it is the part you stop doing.

  • We book and schedule

Enquiries, quoting and appointment scheduling run through the Junk Koala platform rather than your evenings. The job reaches you already sold, priced and scheduled.

  • We handle the money

The customer pays Junk Koala. You never invoice a homeowner, never chase a payment and never have an awkward conversation on a driveway about a card that declined.

  • We support the job

If something changes on site — more junk than listed, a heavy item nobody mentioned — you raise it in the app with photos and head office sorts it out with the customer.

What you do

  • Accept the jobs that fit your schedule and your truck
  • Turn up inside the arrival window, or tell us early if you cannot
  • Do the hauling properly and treat the property with care
  • Take before and after photos in the app
  • Dispose of every load lawfully, and recycle or donate where you can

You are not bidding for anything

This is not a lead marketplace. You are not buying leads, not competing on price against three other companies for the same call, and not quoting the customer. The job is already sold at a set price; you decide whether the pay is worth your day.

What you get

Work, on terms you can actually plan around

  • Local jobs, without finding them

Work in the ZIP codes you choose appears in your app as customers book it.

  • The pay, before you accept

Every open job shows what it pays you on the front of the card. No bidding, no auction, no guessing.

  • Your own schedule

Set the days and hours you work, book time off, and accept only the jobs you want. Nothing is assigned to you automatically.

  • Paid for completed work

Finish the job with the required photos and your pay moves to your earnings. Direct deposit is being set up; until then Junk Koala pays you on its published schedule.

Who we work with

One truck or ten

  • Owner-operators with a pickup, a trailer or a van
  • Independent junk removal and hauling operators
  • Established junk removal companies with spare capacity
  • Moving companies looking to fill quiet days
  • Cleanout, demolition and construction cleanup crews
  • Landscaping and property maintenance businesses with the right truck

What matters more than size is how you work: showing up on time, treating a customer’s home carefully, disposing of loads properly, and saying so early when something changes. Those are the things a brand cannot supply for you.

Straight answers

The questions providers actually ask

Am I an employee of Junk Koala?
No. Junk Koala providers are independent contractors and independent businesses. Joining the network does not create an employment relationship. You are not on a payroll, no tax is withheld from your pay, and you decide which jobs you take and when you work.
Is this a franchise?
No. There is no franchise fee, no territory purchase, no royalty and no franchise agreement. You are not buying anything. Junk Koala offers you jobs; you choose whether to take them.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. There is no joining fee, no monthly subscription and no charge per lead. Junk Koala earns from the difference between what the customer pays and what the job pays you, and that number is shown to you before you accept anything.
Do I need my own truck?
Yes. You provide the vehicle, the equipment and any help you need. What kind of truck you have decides which jobs you are offered — a pickup gets single items and small loads, a box truck gets full cleanouts.
Do I need insurance?
You are responsible for carrying the insurance your business needs where you operate, including vehicle and general liability cover. Junk Koala may ask to see proof of it.
How much work will I get?
That depends on how busy your market is, how wide an area you cover and how many services and job sizes you can take on. Junk Koala does not guarantee a volume of work, and will not pretend otherwise.
Can I still work for myself, or for someone else?
Yes. You are an independent business. There is no exclusivity — you can run your own customers and work with anyone else at the same time.
How and when do I get paid?
Your pay for a job is the amount shown when you accept it. It becomes eligible once the job is completed with its after photos, any price change is settled and the customer's payment has cleared. You need a completed W-9 on file before Junk Koala can pay you.
