Junk removal in California

California is our most varied state to work in. San Francisco is a staircase problem: three floors, a turn at every landing and nowhere legal to stage a load at the bottom. Los Angeles is a routing problem, where the hour of day matters more than the mileage. The South Bay is whole-house rather than single-item, Sacramento's rules change between jurisdictions inside one metro, and San Diego runs on other people's deadlines — orders, closings, the end of a lease.

Statewide, two things are constant. Electronic waste has to go to a certified recycler with a record rather than into a general load, and a great deal of what leaves a California property is still perfectly usable — so it is sorted for reuse before anything is disposed of. Both take time, both are in the price, and neither is optional.
